Seasonal lighting at scale is a different job from a house. It involves budgets and approvals, public safety, power planning, tight installation windows and a hard opening date that cannot move. We've done park tree wrapping and commercial streetscape work across Oxford County and the surrounding region, and we scope commercial jobs around the deadline you actually have to hit.
Most of what makes a public display work happens before a single bulb goes up. Where does the power come from, and is there enough of it? Which sightlines matter — the road, the footpath, or the photo everyone posts? How do pedestrians move through the site safely once it's dark? What has to come down the morning after, and what stays until January? We work those questions first, because they're what separates a display that opens on time from one that doesn't.
We handle municipal tree wrapping and park canopy lighting, downtown and BIA streetscapes along main streets and boulevards, drive-through and walk-through light shows at fairgrounds and conservation areas, and charity and fundraiser displaysfor hospital and hospice campaigns, service clubs and festival-of-lights events. On the commercial side that's retail plazas, storefronts, restaurants, car dealerships and office parks — plus community events like Santa Claus parades, tree lightings, winter markets and outdoor rinks.
Lead time matters more here than anywhere else. A streetscape or a light show opening in November should be scoped in the spring or early summer; a single commercial frontage can often still be fitted in later in the fall. If the date is tight, call rather than email — we'll tell you straight away whether it's achievable.

Large-scale displays for fairgrounds, conservation areas and ticketed events — route planning, power distribution, sequenced and synced sections, and a crew on call for the run of the show.
Charity events & fundraisers
Festival of lights, hospital and hospice fundraisers, service-club displays and community campaigns. We work to fixed budgets and fixed opening nights, and we'll help stage the spend across seasons.
Retail & business frontages
Plazas, storefronts, restaurants, dealerships and office parks. Installed outside trading hours so customers and tenants never see a crew or a closed entrance.
Community & seasonal events
Santa Claus parades, tree lightings, winter markets, skating trails and outdoor rinks. Short-run installs built around a single date, then struck cleanly afterwards.

Budgets, tenders and timelines
Do you work with municipal budgets and tender processes?
Yes. We provide itemized scope of work, product specifications, and proof of insurance and WSIB coverage in a format suitable for tender and procurement review. If you have a fixed budget, tell us the number and we'll design to it and show you what each additional zone would add.
Can you handle a drive-through or ticketed light show?
Yes. That work involves route and sightline planning, power distribution across the site, sequenced or synced sections, and a crew on call for the run of the show. It needs a longer lead time than a roofline job, so start the conversation early — ideally in the spring or summer before the season.
We're a charity with a fixed budget. Can you work to it?
Yes, and it's common. Give us the budget and the opening date and we'll design the biggest display that fits, prioritising the highest-visibility areas first. Many groups build their display up over several seasons, and we plan the layout so each year adds to the last rather than replacing it.
How far ahead do commercial and municipal jobs need to be booked?
Much further than residential. Streetscapes, parks and light shows involve approvals, power planning and long install windows, so spring or summer is right for a display opening that November. Smaller commercial frontages can often still be fitted in later.
Do you take down and store commercial displays too?
Yes. Takedown is scoped into the contract on your schedule — public displays often need to come down quickly after a set date — and storage between seasons can be included so the same display goes back up next year.
