Is this the right fit?
Installed once. Yours every night after.
We'd rather point you at the other option than sell you the wrong one. Here's the honest test.
Permanent is the right call if…
- You want lighting up year-round, not just in December
- You're tired of ladders, tangled strings and blown fuses
- You'd use it for more than Christmas — Halloween, Canada Day, game day, everyday warm white
- You plan to stay in the home long enough to enjoy the investment
- You want it to look built-in, not bolted-on
Seasonal might suit you better if…
- You only want lights up for the holidays
- You'd rather a lower yearly cost than a one-time investment
- You want the classic large-bulb C9 look on the roofline
- You're renting, or moving within a year or two
What you get
Why homeowners pick permanent
Colour-matched to disappear
We take a physical colour sample of your soffit and fascia at the demo and match the track to it. Dramatic after dark, close to invisible at noon — no white plastic strip running across the front of your house.
16 million+ colours, from your phone
Set scenes, brightness, patterns and schedules in the app. Pre-programmed themes for every holiday are included, and changing the whole house takes about five seconds.
Built for Ontario winters
IP67-sealed fixtures, UV-rated cable and components cold-rated to −40°C. Installed once and left up through freeze-thaw, lake-effect snow and humid summers.
No roof penetration
Track fastens into the soffit or fascia channel using specialised clips. Nothing is screwed through your shingles and nothing damages your gutters.
Lifetime warranty in writing
LED modules, mounting hardware and our workmanship — covered for life, including free repairs and replacements. The LEDs themselves are rated past 50,000 hours.
Adds to curb appeal, not clutter
Warm-white architectural wash is the everyday setting most owners run. It reads as landscape lighting for the roofline rather than as decoration.
How it works
From first call to lights on
Book your free demo
Call or send the form. We ring back within 24 hours and find a time that suits you — evenings included, since the lights show best after dark.
We come out and turn the lights on
We measure your rooflines, colour-match your soffit, and mount a live sample section right on your house. You see your own home lit up before you've spent a cent, then get an itemized quote.
Installation, usually in a day or two
Certified crews fit the full system with concealed cable routing, set up your app, and walk you through every control before leaving.
It's yours from then on
No takedown, no storage, no annual bill. If anything ever fails, the lifetime warranty covers the repair.
The hardware
Built to stay up, not to be replaced.
The difference between permanent lighting that still looks good in year eight and a system you regret is entirely in the components. Ours are commercial-grade: IP67-sealed fixtures so water can't work its way into a socket, UV-rated cable so the jacket doesn't chalk and crack in the sun, and electronics cold-rated to −40°C so nothing goes brittle in a February cold snap.
The track itself is fastened into the soffit or fascia channel with purpose-made clips. Nothing is screwed through your shingles, nothing hangs off the gutter face, and the housing is colour-matched to your trim from a physical sample taken at your demo — which is why it reads as part of the house rather than something added to it.
Because every fixture is individually addressable, you get true per-bulb control: chase patterns, alternating colours, gradients across a roofline, or a single warm-white wash at 40% brightness on a timer. That's the setting most owners actually live with day to day.

Pricing
What a permanent system costs
Most residential installations land between $2,500 and $8,000. It's a one-time cost — there's no seasonal bill afterwards.
You get a transparent, itemized quote at your demo — before you commit, with no pressure to sign on the spot.
What moves the price
- Total linear feet of roofline being covered
- Number of peaks, gables and storeys (access difficulty)
- Whether you're lighting the full perimeter or just the front elevation
- Any add-ons like landscape, column or soffit-downlight zones

Permanent Lighting FAQs
What actually happens at the free on-site demo?
A lighting specialist comes to your home, measures your rooflines and takes a colour sample of your soffit and fascia. Then we mount a live sample section of track on your house and turn it on, so you can stand on your own driveway and see exactly how your home looks lit up — the real thing, at night, on your home. You get an itemized quote before we leave. No cost and no obligation.
Will it damage my roof or gutters?
No. Track fastens into the soffit or fascia channel with specialised clips — nothing penetrates your shingles and nothing is fixed to the gutter face in a way that damages it.
Can you see the track during the day?
Only if you go looking. We colour-match to your soffit and fascia so the housing sits inside the trim line. Most visitors never notice it until the lights come on.
How do I control the lights?
Through a mobile app over WiFi. Colours, brightness, patterns and schedules from anywhere, with pre-programmed holiday themes included. You can also set it and forget it — dusk-to-a-set-time schedules are common.
What does the warranty cover?
A lifetime warranty on the LED modules, mounting hardware and our installation workmanship, including free repairs and replacements. LEDs are rated past 50,000 hours and components are IP67-sealed and cold-rated to −40°C.
Does it use much electricity?
Very little. These are low-draw LEDs, and most homeowners run a warm-white scene at partial brightness on a schedule. It costs a fraction of what old incandescent C9 strings drew.
Can you install in winter?
Often yes. Installation depends on safe roof access rather than the calendar, so we schedule around weather. Booking a demo in the off-season usually means faster install dates.
