Maintenance for Guelph homes

Our optional annual maintenance package includes a full system inspection, cleaning, connection checks, app and controller firmware updates, and minor adjustments. Keep your investment in top condition and catch minor issues before they become costly repairs.

Guelph is known for its limestone architecture, the University of Guelph and a downtown anchored by the Church of Our Lady Immaculate. We install permanent lighting in Guelph on stone cottages in the Old University and Exhibition Park areas, as well as newer homes in Westminster Woods and Kortright Hills. Seasonal C9 Christmas lights are available too. Guelph is about 50 minutes from our Woodstock shop.

Guelph limestone homes have a look you do not want to cover up, so our installs on stone houses in Exhibition Park, the Ward and Old University are planned carefully around the existing trim. Newer areas such as Westminster Woods, Kortright Hills and Grange Hill East have long, uniform soffits that light up cleanly end to end. The track is colour-matched to your soffit either way, so the house looks unchanged by day.

Guelph neighbourhoods we serve

Old University, Exhibition Park, The Ward, Kortright Hills, Westminster Woods, Grange Hill East and the surrounding area. Guelph is known for limestone cottages and brick homes in Exhibition Park, the Ward and Old University, with newer south-end and east-end subdivisions featuring long, uniform soffits. Sitting higher than much of Southwestern Ontario, Guelph gets steady snow, cold snaps and freeze-thaw swings that last well into March.

Guelph FAQ

Questions from Guelph homeowners

Do you install on limestone homes in Exhibition Park and the Ward?
Yes. Stone homes need careful planning, and we fasten the track into the soffit or fascia rather than the stone itself. During your free on-site demo we show you the exact run and colour-match the finish so the original architecture stays the focus.
How soon can you install in Guelph?
Guelph is about 50 minutes from our shop and we are there regularly. Demos are usually available within a couple of weeks, and installs follow on the next available date after approval, taking one or two days. Early contact gives the most flexibility.
Will Guelph's snow and cold affect the lights?
No. The system is rated to −40°C and IP67 sealed, so heavy snow, cold snaps and freeze-thaw cycles through March do not affect it. The track is mounted under the eaves with no roof penetration, so snow sliding off the roof will not catch it.
Will it damage my roof or gutters?
No. Track fastens into the soffit or fascia channel with specialised clips — nothing penetrates your shingles and nothing is fixed to the gutter face in a way that damages it.
