Why christmas is better with permanent lighting

Southwestern Ontario Christmases are cold, icy and dark by 5 p.m., which is exactly when traditional strings fail you. Clips snap in the cold, bulbs go out after the first freeze, and nobody wants to be on a ladder in sleet. Tips

Set a schedule from the first Saturday after the Woodstock Santa Claus Parade through January 6 so the lights handle themselves.
Run animated scenes from dusk to 10 p.m. and switch to a static warm white overnight to keep things calm for the street.
Keep brightness around 60 to 75% on homes with close neighbours so the glow looks festive rather than floodlit.
Match your landscape lighting and any wreath spotlights to the same warm white so the whole property reads as one design.

Can permanent lights look like traditional Christmas lights?

Yes. Our classic warm white scene uses a 2700K tone that closely matches old incandescent strings, and you can add subtle twinkle or alternating colours. Many clients who loved the look of big-bulb C9s are surprised how traditional the warm white setting feels from the street.

Do I still need to take anything down after Christmas?

No. The track stays in your soffit all year and is nearly invisible during the day. In January you simply switch to an everyday scene or turn the lights off in the app.
