Seasonal lighting for Kitchener

Kitchener's holiday season is anchored by the Christkindl Market at City Hall, along with lights around Victoria Park and the Santa Claus Parade downtown. Our C9 service gives your home a warm, classic look that suits that old-world tradition, with big bulbs running cleanly along your roofline. We bring the lights, clips and timers, and we do all the climbing for you.

We install across Kitchener in October and November, often finishing well before Christkindl opens in December, and we come back in January to take everything down. You can rent the lights for a simple, no-storage season or buy them to keep. Either way, our crew handles every ladder, clip and connection. Townhomes and detached homes are both welcome. Rented sets stay with us between seasons.

Kitchener fills up fast in the fall. Book before September 30 to lock your early-bird price and reserve install dates, especially if you want lights up before the parade in November. Doon South and Huron Park dates usually go first, so earlier is better. Call 519-266-6796 or request a quote and we will place you on our Waterloo Region schedule.

Kitchener neighbourhoods we serve

Victoria Park, Westmount, Doon South, Huron Park, Laurentian West, Forest Heights, Stanley Park and the surrounding area. Kitchener has older brick homes with tall gables near Victoria Park and Westmount, and fast-growing subdivisions like Doon South and Huron Park full of two-storeys and townhomes.

Commercial holiday lighting in Kitchener

Downtown Kitchener along King Street has heritage storefronts, restaurants and office buildings that suit permanent LED outlining, and the area around Victoria Park draws evening crowds year-round. We also light plazas, places of worship and municipal buildings. Programmable scenes let a business match brand colours, mark Oktoberfest and switch to holiday themes without hanging new lights each year. Learn about our commercial service.

Why seasonal with us

Classic Look, Zero Ladder Work

The classic look. None of the ladder work.

Commercial-grade C9, not big-box strings

Heavy LED C9 bulbs on commercial wire, cut and built to your rooflines. They hold colour, survive the wind, and won't leave you with a dead third of a run in December.

Install, service, takedown, storage

One price covers the whole cycle. We hang it in the fall, come back if anything fails mid-season, then remove and store everything in January.

Custom-fit to your roofline

Runs are measured and built for your house rather than stretched from a fixed-length box, so lines are straight, spacing is even and there's no sagging or doubling back.

In-season service included

If a run goes dark in the middle of December, you call and we come out. You're not on a ladder in the snow trying to find the bad bulb.

Nothing to store

On the rental plan we take everything away and store it. No bins in the garage, no untangling next November.

Clean removal

Clips come off with the lights. No staples left in your fascia, no adhesive marks, no holes to fill in the spring.

The process

How it works in Kitchener

Book, measure, install, enjoy, takedown.

  1. 1
    Book early

    Book before the calendar fills

Send the form or call. The earliest bookings get the season's best pricing and first pick of install dates — the fall calendar fills fast.

  2. 2

    We measure and design

We walk the property, measure every run, and plan the layout — rooflines, peaks, columns, trees and walkways — then give you a firm per-season price.

  3. 3

    Installation in the fall

Crews install in October and November so you're lit for the season. Everything is custom-cut and clipped, with timers set to whatever schedule you want.

  4. 4

    Takedown and storage in January

We come back, take everything down cleanly, and — on the rental plan — store it until next season. Rebooking is a phone call.

Kitchener FAQ

Questions from Kitchener homeowners

Do you install in Doon South and Huron Park?
Yes. Doon South, Huron Park, Laurentian West, Forest Heights and Stanley Park are all part of our regular Kitchener route. Newer homes in these areas usually have clean, continuous soffits, which makes for fast installs and a very even look once the system is lit.
How soon can you install in Kitchener?
Kitchener is about 40 minutes from our shop. Free demos are usually available within a week or two, and once you approve, installs are scheduled soon after and completed in one or two days. Late summer and early fall are the best times to book.
How do the lights handle Kitchener's freeze-thaw winters?
Freeze-thaw is hard on temporary lights because ice expands around clips and sockets. Our track has no exposed clips, the LEDs are IP67 sealed and the system is rated to −40°C, so repeated thaws and refreezes from December through March will not loosen or damage it.
When should I book Christmas light installation?
As early as you can — ideally summer or early fall. Installation runs through October and November and the calendar fills from the outside in, so the earliest bookings get the season's best pricing and first pick of dates. Leaving it to late November usually means limited availability.
Do I buy the lights or do you?
Either. On the rental plan we own, install, remove and store the lights, and you pay one per-season price. On the buy plan you purchase the custom-built C9 sets outright as a one-time cost and then pay only for install and takedown each year. We'll show you both numbers at the quote.
Is takedown included?
Yes — takedown in January is part of every plan. On the rental plan we also store everything through the off-season, so there's nothing in your garage.
