Seasonal lighting for Woodstock

Woodstock gets into the holidays early. The Santa Claus Parade rolls down Dundas Street, downtown storefronts light up, and homes around Southside Park start glowing by late November. Our seasonal service puts classic C9 big-bulb lights along your roofline so your house fits right in, without you climbing a ladder in the cold. We handle the clips, the timer and the cleanup.

We install C9 lights across Woodstock through October and November, then come back in January to take them down. You can rent the lights for the season or buy them outright and keep them. Renting suits families who want a simple, all-in service each year, while buying makes sense if you plan to use the same set for many winters.

Since we are based in town, Woodstock bookings fill quickly. Book before September 30 to lock in early-bird pricing and secure an install date that works for you. Popular weekends in early November go first, especially in Sally Creek and the subdivisions along Parkinson Road. A short call to 519-266-6796 is all it takes to get on the schedule. Neighbours often book together to light up a whole block.

Woodstock neighbourhoods we serve

Downtown Woodstock, Vansittart Avenue heritage district, Sally Creek, Northeast Woodstock, Southside, Pittock Park area and the surrounding area. Woodstock pairs Victorian and Edwardian brick homes along Vansittart Avenue with large newer subdivisions like Sally Creek, where two-storeys and bungalows have long, continuous soffits.

Commercial holiday lighting in Woodstock

Downtown Woodstock along Dundas Street has heritage storefronts that look great outlined in permanent LED track, and the plazas on Norwich Avenue and near the 401 benefit from colour scenes that change with the seasons. We also light churches, community halls and municipal buildings across the city. Business owners can run brand colours year-round and switch to holiday scenes in December. Why seasonal with us

Classic Look, Zero Ladder Work

The classic look. None of the ladder work.

Commercial-grade C9, not big-box strings

Heavy LED C9 bulbs on commercial wire, cut and built to your rooflines. They hold colour, survive the wind, and won't leave you with a dead third of a run in December.

Install, service, takedown, storage

One price covers the whole cycle. We hang it in the fall, come back if anything fails mid-season, then remove and store everything in January.

Custom-fit to your roofline

Runs are measured and built for your house rather than stretched from a fixed-length box, so lines are straight, spacing is even and there's no sagging or doubling back.

In-season service included

If a run goes dark in the middle of December, you call and we come out. You're not on a ladder in the snow trying to find the bad bulb.

Nothing to store

On the rental plan we take everything away and store it. No bins in the garage, no untangling next November.

Clean removal

Clips come off with the lights. No staples left in your fascia, no adhesive marks, no holes to fill in the spring.

The process

How it works in Woodstock

Book, measure, install, enjoy, takedown.

  1. 1

  2. 2

    We measure and design

We walk the property, measure every run, and plan the layout — rooflines, peaks, columns, trees and walkways — then give you a firm per-season price.

  3. 3

    Installation in the fall

Crews install in October and November so you're lit for the season. Everything is custom-cut and clipped, with timers set to whatever schedule you want.

    Takedown and storage in January

We come back, take everything down cleanly, and — on the rental plan — store it until next season. Rebooking is a phone call.

Woodstock FAQ

Questions from Woodstock homeowners

Do you service Sally Creek and the newer Woodstock subdivisions?
Yes. Sally Creek, Northeast Woodstock and the newer streets near Pittock Park are some of our busiest areas. Long, uniform soffits on these homes make for clean installs, and because our shop is on Peel Street we can often fit a demo or measurement visit into the same week you call.
How soon can you install permanent lighting in Woodstock?
Woodstock is our home base, so lead times are usually the shortest of any city we serve. After your free on-site demo and approval, most installs are scheduled within a couple of weeks and completed in one or two days, weather permitting. Fall gets busier, so booking in late summer helps.
Will the lights handle ice and wind off the open fields around Woodstock?
Yes. The track is aluminum, the LEDs are IP67 sealed, and the system is rated to −40°C. Because it sits tucked into the soffit or fascia rather than hanging on clips, wind and ice buildup along the eavestrough do not pull it loose the way temporary strings can.
When should I book Christmas light installation?
As early as you can — ideally summer or early fall. Installation runs through October and November and the calendar fills from the outside in, so the earliest bookings get the season's best pricing and first pick of dates. Leaving it to late November usually means limited availability.
Do I buy the lights or do you?
Either. On the rental plan we own, install, remove and store the lights, and you pay one per-season price. On the buy plan you purchase the custom-built C9 sets outright as a one-time cost and then pay only for install and takedown each year. We'll show you both numbers at the quote.
Is takedown included?
Yes — takedown in January is part of every plan. On the rental plan we also store everything through the off-season, so there's nothing in your garage.
